Religious Institutions
There are fifty seven religious institutions located in the Village of Hempstead. They include a vast range of denominations, including, Catholic, Episcopalian, Presbyterian Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran and other Christian churches, a Hindu temple, a Sikh Gurudwara, a Korean Temple, a Hebrew Congregation and a host of storefront establishments.
